1/4/10 The young boy ventured into the cold night; the light layer of snow crunching beneath his boots. In one hand he held a flashlight, in the other, a hammer; just in case mercy was required. The boy walked at a brisk pace, determined to get his "mission" over with. His heart pounded as he neared the spot he had left the poor creatures many hours ago, out here in the cold. He was afraid of the sight he might come to, but he pushed ever onward. Before I actually begin, I would like to give thanks to deviant user Ashwings and her amazing submission entitled “Artisticly Speaking?” That single piece has inspired me in such a way, I decided to write this draft. I recommend that you see what she has to say; along with her other art works. I would also just like to mention some deviants who I feel deserve more than they’ve been given. This is in no particular order. Firewalker71/Holly Foret- One of my first true friends here on dA. She is one of the few people I look up to in terms of literature.
